Prof (Dr) Rakesh Patil - Director

Prof (Dr) Rakesh Patil graduated in 1988 from University of Pune and stood first in BSc (Physics). After that completed new emerging course B.Sc.(Applied) Computer Science from University of Pune. Done his Masters in Business Administration-IT in 1992 with First Class from University of Pune. He completed his M. Phil (Management) from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune (India) in 2006. Also completed Masters of Computer Application (MCA) from MK University on 2008 with First Class. Completed his PhD in Management (Doctorate) from prestigious University in India i.e. University of Pune in 2011. Also Awarded Honorary D.Litt. by University of Asia, Korea in October,2018. He is having total 29+ years of teaching & administrative experience. He has Authored six books and Published more than 106 research papers in reputed national & international journals. Also Editor-in-Chief & Editor of International Journal of Economics & Commerce (IJEC), International Journal of Emerging Trends in Management (IJTEM), International Journal for Software Testing (IJST), International Journal for Computer Application & Management (IJCAM). He visited to Teesside University, UK, Tunku Abdul Rahman University, Malaysia and National University, Singapore. He is  Life member of Indian Economic Association (LM-IEA),New Delhi & Indian Society for Technical Education (LM- ISTE), New Delhi and member of Computer Society of India (M-CSI). Appreciations & Honors by various organizations such as Best Educator of the Year-2011 by IBC,UK, Best Educator by Sakal Media Group etc. Worked as Chairman and Member of Board of Studies of various Universities. His areas of interest & research are General Management, Organizational Behavior, E-learning, E-Governance, Management Information Systems, Data bases, Software Engineering etc.

Dr. Rajesh kumar Pandey - Associate Professor

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Pandey is a University Approved Associate Professor at SSR IMR, Silvassa, and has completed Ph. D from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune in the faculty of Management (2015). He is a B. Com (Hons) graduate (Odisha), has completed his MBA in Marketing & Finance (Maharashtra), PGDHRM from MIT, Pune and M Com from SPPU, Pune. At SSR IMR he is the Academic Coordinator and Head Research Cell (ARC). His domain expertise spans across a wide range of academic interests like Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Strategy & Communication, Strategic HRM, Consumer Behaviour, and Indian Ethos & Values etc.  

He has a total of 18 Years of experience including good 6 years of Industrial Experience with varied Job profiles at reputed firms in ITeS sector like Datamatics Technologies at Mumbai, EXL Services & WNS Global Services at Pune with his last profile being an Operations Manager at WNS Global Services. Dr. Rajesh has been in the field of Teaching for the last 12 years (since 2009). He has to his credit 2 Books, 1 Edited Book, 5 Book Chapters and Co-Editor to 3 Conference proceedings till the year 2020-21. He has attended several FDPs and presented & published more than 75 Research Papers in State, National & International Conferences / Seminars with contributions to UGC Care Journals, Peer Reviewed ISSN Journals & ISBN publications. He has received several Best Paper & Case study awards in Conferences across the Nation. He is editor of the IMR News Letter. He has completed 10 MOOCs and participated in the ATAL FDPs conducted by reputed Institutions in association with AICTE New Delhi. He has been a resource person & chairperson at academic conferences. He has accumulated experiences as Reviewer & editorial board member in Journal & Conferences. He has experience of being Member of University appointed Teams for Syllabus designing, Paper setting & Examiner. He has extended his services as Secretary ISTD, Silvassa chapter and he is a Life Member of IAECT, Mumbai (Membership No.: BEIL/ISO/20/M/081). 

 

Dr. Rajesh has passion for Soft skills training with his sessions experienced at Industry Associations and various Academic Institutions. He has established a good Industry connect leading to Industry – Academic experience. A sportsman at heart & on ground, a person with fair grasp on civic science & a public orator by passion, he has an aim to excel in the field of Management Education with virtue of openness to learning & sharing knowledge.

Dr. Diksha Swaroop - Assistant Professor

Dr. Diksha Swaroop is an Assistant Professor at SSR IMR, Silvassa, and has completed her PGDM (HR) from Ishan Institute of Management & Technology, Delhi,she also has a master’s degree in Archaeology (Gold Medallist) from Patna University. Mrs. Swaroop started her career at SSR IMR in the year 2009 as Lecturer and has a total of 12 years of teaching experience. Currently she is pursuing PhD from Savitribai Phule Pune University,Pune in Organisational Management. 

 She has contributed papers to ISSN/ISBN and UGC Journal. She has completed two MOOCs by NPTEL. She also attended various FDPs to strengthen her teaching ability. Her teaching interests are Labour Law, Training & Development, Performance management System, Strategic Human Resource Management, Personnel Administration, Organizational development, case studies and HRM. She has been actively involved in personality development programmes on various topics like Group Discussion, time management, relevance of management, team building etc. She has been appointed by the University as a paper setter and examiner for MBA and HRD courses. 

She is managing University Examination as Chief Examination Officer at the institute. She is taking care of the Training and Placement Cell along with other internal and statutory committees at the institute. 

 She believes that education is about kindling the ability to think intensively and critically, igniting the passion for knowledge and fostering the desire to excel.

Dr. Bhada Mohd. Bilal - Assistant Professor

Dr. Mohd. Bilal A. Bhada, An Engineer by Education, Management Graduate by Choice and a Teacher by Profession has been associated with SSR IMR since its inception. Mr. Mohd. Bilal has completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and Pursued Post Graduation in Management in Production & Materials Management and Human Resource Management-Dual. Currently he is on the verge of completing his PhD in Production Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He is actively involved in learning updated theories and practices through completion of 5 MOOCs from Swayam and Udemy Platform and attended 40+ webinars and FDPS. A NET qualified candidate; has a healthy experience of Eleven (11) Years in Educating and guiding Management Students. 

He is actively involved in taking care of Subjects related to Research and Production & Operations. He has been also associated with Training & Development activities and has been a Trainer and participant to the Industry Association in the Region in and around Dadra and Nagar Haveli. He has gained inclination towards Research work and has in total Nine (9) ISSN & ISBN publications to his credit. A Sports Person by heart, he thrives to learn and share new things.

Dr. Natasha Nunes - Assistant Professor

Dr. Natasha Nunes, is associated with SSR IMR since August 2011, MBA in Financial Management from SSR Institute of Management and Research and currently a Research Scholar pursuing PhD in the subject Financial Management from SPPU. She has qualified the UGC NET for Asst. Professor in the subject of Financial Management in December 2012. She has 10 years of experience in the teaching field. She has been instrumental towards various PDP sessions at the Institute.  

She is currently a Mutual Fund Distributor registered with AMFI. She has to her credit 5 research papers in ISSN publications. She has completed 3 MOOCs and attended various FDPs conducted by renowned Institutions.   

At the Institute, her main areas of interest and specialization include Management Accounting, Managerial Economics, Financial Management, International Finance, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and International Business. She is the coordinator for Students Extracurricular Activities at the Institute. Her key responsibilities also include administrative activities concerning AICTE, DTE and Fee fixation .She has also been appointed as Paper Setters and Examiner for different examination sessions by the University. She is also a member of various statutory committees at the Institute.

Mr. Amar Vangad - Assistant Professor

Mr. Amar Vangad is part of SSR Institute of Management & Research (IMR), human capital since October 2015. He is an alumnus of SSR IMR and completed his MBA degree in the batch of 2010-12. He is UCG-NET qualified in the field of Management. He has completed various FDP’s and certifications from esteemed Institutions and Universities such as SPPU, Pune, Institutions empanelled under Swayam etc., Following are the  Key FDP’s and Certifications:

Mr. Vangad, is pursuing a certificate course on Business Analytics from IMS Proschool, Mumbai (associated with National Skills Development Corporation – NSDC, Mumbai). He is also a Doctoral Degree aspirant and is in process to get enrolled for the same. He has 10 ISSN & ISBN research publications and a book chapter in the edited book. 

Prior to his journey as academician he had worked for an International Company based in Canada (2012 – 2015). He dissociated from the company as Assistant Manager – Finance. At the manufacturing company the key job responsibilities were: Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Working Capital Management, Taxation, MIS, KPI’s for manufacturing & distribution, Transfer Pricing and Secretarial & Audit Accordance. 

At the Institute Mr. Vangad is a faculty for Finance, Marketing  and Skill Based Courses. He was also appointed as External Senior Supervisor and an Examiner for University Examinations. He serves as a committee member on various Internal and Statutory committees of the Institute.

Dr. Somnath Bava - Librarian

Dr. Somnath Bava, joined as Librarian at SSR IMR on 10th September, 2008. He has broad experience of Fifteen years as a Librarian at various Institutes of repute. He has attended more than 20 National/ International level Seminars/Conferences. He has presented/published 7 research articles in different types of National/ International level Seminars/Conferences with contributions to ISBN publications. He has published 2 research papers in national/International Journals. He has participated in 2 AICTE ATAL Online FDP/WORKSHOP and 3 Swayam Certificate Courses. His current research interests include Digital Library, Open Source software, Web-based Learning and Education, Web 2.0, Knowledge Management, Virtual Library etc… 

Dr. Bava is a Commerce graduate from North Gujarat University, Patan and has completed M.L.I.Sc with first class distinction from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat in 2005. He has completed M.Phil in Library and Information Science with first class from S.P.University, Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat in 2008. He has qualified the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor in the subject of Library and Information Science in December 2015, MSET (Maharashtra State Eligibility Test) and GSET (Gujarat State Eligibility Test) in December 2013. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in the subject of library and information science from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan from 2017. 

At institute level, He is playing the role of Nodal officer of counselling and guidance cell, Nodal officer at AISHE, Nodal Officer of National Scholarship Portal of India, and Local Chapter officer of SWAYAM NPTEL Local chapter.

Nikunj Bilakhia - LDC

Mr Nilkunj Bilakhia a B.Com and MBA by qualification joined SSR Institute of Management & Research, Silvassa as LDC in the year 2013. He has also completed his Diploma in Hardware and networking from  Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Silvassa.  Prior to this he has two years’ experience as an Accountant in an organization. At the institute he is taking care of Tally, Accounts, and Admin & Operations. He is also a member of various statutory committees at the institute.  He is actively involved in the admission process like document collection & verification and managing DNH Quota seats.  He is also responsible for maintaining records for day to day transactions. 

Mr Nilkunj Bilakhia attended various FDP events organized by SPPU. He has a book published in his name on the topic Business Communication.
